5 1/2 Months Old= 1st Tooth Breaking Thru....

Yes everyone today yet another milestone has been accomplished.... Today when I went to pick up my baby girl, Miss Becky told me that a tooth had come thru. When I stuck my finger in her mouth I felt a little jagged edge. Yes it was my babies first tooth. This little golden tooth is on her bottom gum, in the front. I'm so excited, and the best part is that my girl isn't even fusing about it. Teething I'm sure will have it's bad days but for now we have a beautiful tooth and no fuss.

Uncle Patrick's Graduation

So a couple weeks ago we went down to Merced to watch Emma's uncle Patrick graduate from High School. It was fun, we got to see a bunch of the family that we don't typically get to see and visit with. More captions to come later when I have a few moments, but I wanted to get some new pictures up for now!

A couple videos of my froggie...

Here's a couple of videos of Emma passing another milestone. I know how insignificant it may seem, a child or baby playing with a toy, but when you've sat and watched your baby grow and learn, its the most amazing moment in life. For a while I was worried she was behind in a development, not like that would be a bad thing, I was just worried, but in a moment it all changed. She, since she was born, doesn't want to let go of her hands, and I was afraid she'd never let go and try to grasp things. This is a very important development, it leads to everything else, and like I learned in Psychology, babies don't skip over developments even if it's taking them a long time to learn one. But as you can see in these videos my angel is unlocking her grasp and taking a step in a new and brighter world. This world is called toy land and so far I think she likes it!!!

Here she is playing, for the first time with out her hands being clasped together, with her new toy that Grandma picked out. Got to admit she knew what to buy because wow this girl loves it!!!

She loves this toy....

Hope you enjoyed watching as much as I enjoyed filming them!!!!

Its the Small things that make it worth it...

Okay well as most know tomorrow my little angel will be five months old. It may not seem like that long, but wow how times flown by. My precious little girl has grown, from a wiggle blob, into a moving, laughing, and now playing baby. So many mile stones have past in the last week, it's hard to stop and reminisce without shedding at least one tear. You can only imagine how many hurdles a baby can go over by the time they're FIVE months old, unless you've been thru this whirl-wind already. Let me start at the beginning of this week, with one of her many accomplishments up to today, daycare. Yes many may feel that daycare is not a great place for children to be, as it takes away from family connection, but I couldn't have found a better 2nd family for my daughter. Well I guess if my old babysitter still had her daycare that may have been a little better, but I am a tad bit biased. This daycare is ran in my neighbors home, literally two blocks down, and I've known her family for years. She, and her helpers, are amazing with Emmalyn and the other children. She teaches them knowledge that may have gone unknown until preschool. I hate to admit it too, but Emma's better behaved at Beckie's than with me! LOL Oh well I'm just glad I have a safe and fun place for Emmalyn to be while I go to school, to make a better life for us.

This is the first day that she went to DayCare...and look how happy she looks!!! Of course she had to go in a dress so that everyone knew she had style...

Here she is starting to roll more to one side...and that's GiGi her giraffe...whom she absolutely loves!!

This is a picture of Emma starting to sit up, a lot better than before, in her new toy....yes she always has new toys!!! I can't help it, there too cute and she looks too cute playing with them!!!

Okay so I just took this today, as you can see Emma is eating baby food. We've been trying to get her for weeks to eat oatmeal cereal but she screams when I give it to her. So I thought in celebration of her turning five months tomorrow I'd try something else. Sweet Potatoes..and yes folks she LOVES them. She eats her whole, tiny, bowl of them, minus the leftovers on her face!!!

A Quick Update with Pictures..

So here are a bunch of, of course, adorable pictures of my baby girl!!! One Friday before Daniel had to go to work we had some extra time, so we decided to go to the zoo. I swore I'd never go to the Sacramento zoo again, due to how poorly I think the animals are kept, but of course I have to take Emma there. I do think it will be a little more fun though when she actually reacts to seeing the animals! :)

Emmalyn's first trip to the zoo....She wasn't even scared to sit on the alligator...
Daddy with his little baby in the pouch...you don't want to know how we were able to take this picture :/ LOL
Me and my baby girl checking out the Chimps...who by the way are Gorillas not Monkeys, just to clarify :)
She was amazed at the Chimps...or just confused as to what the heck was going on
Looking at some sort of wanna be "deer" from Africa
Here are just some REALLY adorable pictures of her

She didn't want her binky in her mouth anymore
She tends to pass out and then the binky falls out...and of course lays in that exact position until either she wakes up or I grab it LOL, if you can't tell its right in front of her mouth, on her lip
OMG look at how blue her eyes look...better yet she's actually figured out how she can keep her hands clasped together and still hold on to something
She was in such a good mood today
Gots to have the binky...and now she knows how to pull it out and put it back in...
Yay finally she can stand in this thing and play with...as you can tell she's fascinated by the red bird
Until next time...
